5-String Cello The Turquoise Lady - it is an electro-acoustic Cello with sympathetic strings. 

The Turquoise Lady was inspired by various renaissance bowed instruments many of which featured sympathetic strings. 

It is fitted with a piezo pickup and a separate magnetic pickup powering the sympathetic strings. This kind of setup enables the player to control both signals with a blend potentiometer.
