The Amber is a solid body electric dulcimer.

Unlike most dulcimers it’s designed to be played like a regular guitar or on the lap of a left-handed player. Fitted with a humbucker pickup and volume control, this versatile instrument could be plugged in to any guitar amp, which allows you to modify its sound in a number of ways. 

It has a hand carved headstock and is finished with several glossy coats of French polish. The Amber dulcimer  derives its name from a piece of genuine amber that crowns the volume knob.
