Here’s yet another take on a dulcimer. This one has 3 strings tuned to D-A-d and sports the one and only Original Flatpup humbucker all the way down from Vienna, Austria. 

Although it's a solid-body electric instrument, when mounted on a wooden case that happens to double as a soundbox, it becomes an acoustic dulcimer, suitable for a low-key (pun intended) practice or jam.
