The Viking Uke is a tenor ukulele with a solid ash body and a piece of genuine black oak for its fretboard.
The uke is equipped with a set of four steel strings tuned to G-C-E-A and a Flatpup humbucker pick-up, which turn this tiny instrument into a fully electric beast.
The materials used for this piece are genuinely stunning. The fretboard is made from a piece of Polish black oak, which was buried in a river bed for centuries if not thousands of years! The headstock of the uke is adorned with a piece of red amber found on the Baltic shore, which was a home of mighty Viking warriors – hence the name.
